MUSICAL THEATRE & OPERA

For the last ten years, Dan Ryan has had the great privilege of spending his summers at Interlochen Arts Camp where he music directs their cornerstone high school musical theatre program. Dan has also music directed and/or conducted theatre and opera productions for White Snake Projects, Greater Worcester Opera, Boston Opera Collaborative, Metro West Opera, VOICES Boston, Moonbox Productions, Merrimack Rep, MIT, The Boston Conservatory, In Good Company Theatre, Piedmont Players, Theatre Statesville, and others. Dan is the former Co-Artistic Director of MassOpera where his favorite credits include a site-specific La Traviata he conceived and arranged for the historic Eustis Estate, and #SocialDistinSing, when he personally drove opera singers in the back of his pickup truck to over 35 locations during the first year of the pandemic to bring live music to Boston’s homebound, veteran, low-income, and disabled communities.
